Unfortunately, for the pandemic situation due to COVID-19, the first visit to Spain by the Italian Team was delayed in June 2021, when representatives of the lead partner TUSCIA and of CREA partner went to the Spanish pilot site for the first inspection. Here the Italian partners had the pleasure to meet the Spanish partners Smart City Cluster, Wellness telecom and Conrad Winery.

On this occasion, some analysis for the soil and vegetation characterization of the Spanish pilot vineyard were conducted, in addition, to defining the experimental design in the Spanish vineyard.
